Initial 10K Miles

Your first 10,000 miles in a new vehicle are some of the most memorable. After you reach this important milestone you’ll need to inspect key systems to make sure everything’s working as it should:

20K, 60K, & 100K Miles

At 20,000 miles, 60,000 miles, or 100,000 miles, you’ll have a few more important tasks to take care of! You’ll want to perform all of the checks you’d normally do at 10,000 miles, along with the following additional services:

  • Battery inspection
  • Tire inspection
  • Brake system inspection
  • Fuel filter replacement
  • Dust and pollen filter replacement
  • Tire filler bottle expiration date check

30K, 50K, 70K, 90K, & 110K Miles

Proper VW maintenance requires the regular inspection of your brake discs and regular replacement of your brake fluid. You’ll want to take care of both at 30,000, 50,000, 70,000, 90,000, and 110,000 miles. Ideally, you’ll take care of these services at the same time that you perform your normal 10,000-mile checkup.

40K, 80K, & 120K Miles

At 40,000, 80,000, and 120,000 miles, you’ll receive your most comprehensive maintenance checkups. When you schedule these important appointments, you should plan on taking care of all your 10,000-mile services along with each of the following:

  • Tires
  • Battery
  • Brakes
  • Coolant
  • Engine
  • Exhaust
  • Electrical components
  • Underbody sealant
  • CV joints

Other services:

  • Fuel filter replacement
  • Dust and pollen filter replacement
  • DSG transmission fluid and filter change
  • Tire filler bottle expiration date check
  • Tire filler bottle replacement in the mobility kit
