What Comes With the Limited Edition 2017 Pink VW Beetle?
We often hear of drivers looking to get their VW Beetle in a pink paint color. Though current (2016 model year) models don’t offer such a color, Volkswagen recently revealed that drivers may be able to get behind the wheel of a pink Beetle in the 2017 model year. Let’s take a look at what comes with the limited edition 2017 pink VW Beetle so that you can know what to expect.
First of all, as you read above, this pink-painted version of the Beetle is limited edition. This means a limited number will be produced and made available across the United States. Unfortunately, at this point, we don’t know exactly how limited the model will be. We do know, however, that it will be made available in the fall of 2016 as both a coupe and convertible.
Second, apart from the eye-catching paint color, Volkswagen has done something interesting here by naming the vehicle with a hashtag. The official production name for the limited edition model is actually the #PinkBeetle.

2017 VW #PinkBeetle Features and Paint Color
Inside the bug, pink accents are highlighted against a black dashpad. Similar plaid seats found in the Golf GTI are also found in the #PinkBeetle. The difference, however, is that Volkswagen has removed the red striping in the seats and replaced it with a matching pink hue.
Apart from some of these design differences, you’ll still find the same Beetle features drivers love, like the 1.8-liter turbocharged engine producing 170 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. The interior is decked out with a touchscreen infotainment system that gives you access to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as well as a USB port and push-button start.
