What Comes With the 2017 Volkswagen Beetle Classic Model?
We have some great news for VW fans, and it’s even better news if you’re a huge fan of the iconic Beetle. Although the Beetle models of today are just as fun and filled with a spirit of adventure, sometimes it’s nice to think back to the Beetle cars from the “old days.” Thankfully, however, you no longer have to just think about those classic models, as a new Beetle Classic trim is on its way. Let’s take a look at what comes with the 2017 Volkswagen Beetle Classic model.
If you follow the Beetle closely, you’ll know that VW used to offer a classic and retro version of the model. Unfortunately, that model disappeared for the 2016 model year, but it’s on its way back for 2017 and will be offered as a coupe or convertible.

For example, the Classic model has 17-inch Circle aluminum-alloy wheels. On top of that, the exterior will have a rear spoiler.
Inside, the vehicle has comforts like the Discover Media infotainment system, navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. What really stands out and makes the model truly “classic,” however, is the addition of checked cloth seats with V-Tex leatherette.
Lastly, Volkswagen will be offering the Classic model in a number of color options. The color options include Pure White, Dark Bronze, Deep Black Pearl, Platinum Gray, Bottle Green and Silk Blue. While some you may be used to, others, like Bottle Green, should really give the car a retro look.
Unfortunately, we are still waiting to see official photos of what comes with the 2017 Volkswagen Beetle Classic model, as the photos you see above are from the 2015 version. Once they’re released, however, we will keep you updated on the Volkswagen Santa Monica blog.
