The U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team recently won its 2nd-consecutive FIFA World Cup. One of the leading performers for Team USA was Alex Morgan, with six goals during the tournament. Alex Morgan is also sharing her talents for Volkswagen, with her recently taking a Brand Ambassador role.

The ambassadorship coincides with the Volkswagen “Drive Bigger Campaign” and follows the multi-year presenting partnership with U.S. Soccer that Volkswagen agreed to earlier this year.

For the multi-year partnership between Volkswagen and U.S. Soccer, Volkswagen will aid U.S. Soccer in its mission to become the preeminent sport in the United States through increased visibility, player and coach development, and promoting greater fan engagement across the country. The ambassadorship will continue through and beyond Alex Morgan’s anticipated return to the Summer Olympics in 2020.
