How much will the 2018 Volkswagen Atlas cost?

If you’ve been patiently waiting for the official pricing of the all-new 2018 VW Atlas, the wait is finally over. There are five trims available for this seven-passenger SUV, and the base trim starts at just $30,500. It’s expected to arrive to dealership lots across the country this May 2017, so let’s dive in to find out more about the trims available.

2018 VW Atlas S –

The base trim for the 2018 VW Atlas is expected to have a late arrival. It’s set with a four-cylinder turbocharged 2.0L TSI engine that has an MSRP of $30,500. Standard features include LED headlights with LED Daytime Running Lights and a rearview camera. There is a 3.6L V6 with front-wheel drive and one with all-wheel drive, which are both available at a higher price point.

The Atlas S Launch trim will have limited availability and be set standard with the 3.6L VR6 engine. Drivers will pay $33,500 for the FWD model and $35,300 for the AWD. Special features include a panoramic sunroof and SiriusXM Satellite Radio.

2018 VW Atlas SE & SE with Technology –

The Atlas SE builds off the S trim with an MSRP starting at $33,590. Added features including heated door mirrors and rain-sensing windshield wipers. Drivers will have the 3.6L V6 engine with either front- or all-wheel drive options.

The Atlas SE with Technology trim starts at $35,690 and features a plethora of advanced convenience features. These include Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning a power liftgate and remote start. Models are available with either FWD or AWD.


2018 VW Atlas SEL & SEL Premium –

The Atlas SEL builds off the SE with Technology model and adds on a panoramic sunroof, Easy Open liftgate and front and rear Park Distance Control. With a starting price of $39,160, the SEL trim will offer both front- and all-wheel drive as well.

The top-of-the-line Atlas SEL Premium is the only trim available with the 4Motion AWD system and the 3.6L VR6 engine. It starts at $48,490 and includes a 12.3-inch Volkswagen Digital Cockpit as well as navigation, ventilated front seats and heated rear seats.
